Summary: I've had the Topaz for a couple of years, now, and I am somewhat disappointed. While the canister itself is lightweight with powerful suction, the wand is heavy and hard to manage. At first I thought it was due to the fact that I needed shoulder surgery.
Pros: high quality, effective, reliable
Cons: difficult to use, did not meet my expectations , Aheavy wanddd a con
Summary: I have had this unit for about four months and am impressed by it's compact size, vacuuming power, relatively quiet operation and maneuverability. Summary: I suppose the "red velvet" look should have been indication that this model is more for design centric buyers. However, being a Miele product, I expected more from this overpriced unit. My husband and I are huge fans of German engineering, so this is a huge let-down.
Summary: I was hoping for perfection with this machine but its not. It is very lightweight, sleek, relatively quiet, and does a good job sucking up most things. I especially like the completely sealed bag when I'm ready to throw it out.
Summary: I would not recommend this vacuum cleaner because of how it is designed. The attachment between the hose and the dust bag is not air-tight enough to prevent dust from escaping the bag and entering the dust bag compartment. Meanwhile, the vacuum operates normally.
Yes, it's worth every penny. The best vacuum ever!

Summary: I LOVE this vacuum! The suction is so powerful it will pick up a small rug on the highest setting, yet it is so lightweight I can hold the canister in one hand and vacuum our vaulted ceilings with the extension in the other.
