Summary: I've had the Twist for three years now, and overall, like the unit a lot. That said, there are some plastic parts that break which require repairs. We had a (noisy) Royal for 20 years which was in the shop once.
Excerpt: Had an Oreck that started out good, but it was so loud and burns through belts quickly. This new vacuum is great. Great maneuverability, goes nicely under low furniture, love the ability to adjust suction and turn on/off the roller brush. This vacuum is heavy duty and does a good job.
Pros: Floor Vs Carpet Feature, Great For Golden Fur, Very Efficient
Summary: I have had my vacuum for about a year. I have mixed reviews about it. Pro- it sucks up great, easy to handle, Hepa filter keeps the dust out of the air. Con- it is constantly getting clogged. I have to clean the blocked hose out at least once a week.
Summary: Purchased the Twist several months ago and early on we began experiencing clogging problems and hair collecting around the beater bar. These problems required disassembly to dislodge the clogs and the hair needed to be cut from the bar.
Excerpt: Purchased the Twist several months ago. The unit began clogging and hair collected on the beater bar requiring the vacuum to be disassembled to dislodge the clogs and the hair had to be cut from the bar. I recently had the unit serviced for the same problems.
Summary: I;m disappointed in this vacuum. It is not good on stairs because it is very heavy and large. It is taxing to push and maneuver. I have a rather deep pile and it accumulates a strip of hair and leaves it on the carpet.
