Summary: I just purchased a Dyson DC39 for my business, but decided to give it a test run here at home, to compare it to my LG Kompressor, and this is what I found out: The Dyson is a lighter weight machine.
Summary: Lacking in suction power. Odd angles for the swivel head. The product was returned and replaced with the Dyson canister. The Dyson is a much better product and value. Both were equally priced.
Summary: Do not waste your money. I bought this Vacuum in March and it rarely works, if ever. Something is wrong with the electrical side of things as it will not keep power to the head. It is heavy & cheaply made. Would not recommend this vacuum.
Summary: I bought this unit to vacuum a 2200 square foot home with about 35% of the floor surfaces being carpet and the rest tile. The unit had good suction and is relatively light weight. After about four months after purchase the problems started.
Summary: I was so excited about this vacuum, consumer reports rated it very highly and I've been wanting a vacuum with a little extra power to pick up pet hair. After plugging it in and running it over 2 square feet of carpet (if that) in literally 30 seconds it shut off and displayed the 'empty canister'...
Summary: Cleans well. Poor quality overall. LG will not send a replacement but you get to pay good money for a brand new item only to be without it so they can decide if they want to replace or fix it. Going on second time back. To me that is lame.
Summary: Although my floors are all tile, I do have some area rugs. The suction of the LG is amazing and almost devoured a small area rug. I am OCD about my home and if this vacuum keeps up the great work, I will be able to honestly say it beats my Dyson (when it was new).
Summary: we researched the vacuum, plus our son bought one, and loves it. I have a dog with fairly long white fur. I was having to get on hands and knees and use just the nozzle of other vacuum and work at it for a half hour to get up. And do this again in a couple days.
