Summary: It's a great little vacuum. We barely ever vacuum the downstairs, unless we have a party or the cat makes a mess. This does have its issues though. First, it needs a ton of maintenance. Probably all the time I would have spent vacuuming is now spent cleaning the roomba out. Second it seems the longer we've had it the dumber it gets. It never used to get jammed in places, now it happens a lot. Third, it thought our dark rugs were cliffs and didn't clean over them.
Summary: Filters and brushes both fit Roomba 770 perfectly. The filters are great. The Side brushes, however, caused the Roomba to hang up on rug edges. These brushes are much more substantial than the originals, which would seem to be a good thing. These have 6 bristles on each brush whereas the originals had only 3 bristles per brush. When on hardwood floors and brushing up against the edge of a rug these consistently hung up on the edge of the rug and the Roomba got stuck.
Summary: Yes, they are the correct spare parts even though they are way over-priced. If you change the HEPA filters when recommended, then be prepare to empty your pocketbook because these things are just too costly.
Product is good, but high maintenance. Customer Service is very average. You Will need them however

Summary: So I bought this in October (missed the new one by 2 weeks -- really mad at Roomba for not having an upgrade policy even though I was willing to pay). First off, this device works very well when it works. Weekly maintenance is a pain (hair stuck in roller takes a while to clear out every week) but after a few months, it develops problems.
Summary: In June 2013 I purchased the Roomba 780 after deciding to get a cleaning robot. Unfortunately, I didn't search the market for available products, but went straight to the Roomba website and checked out the models. After hearing for years the name Roomba, I decided on the latest and greatest and got the 780. Initially I was happy with the purchase, but over time I realized I'll have to live with some shortcoming.
Summary: It was a good value, but the star shaped sweeper things seem like they are to big or heavy or something. They stop spinning every so often. Is that normal? If so they deserve a higher rating, but I forget how the originals worked. So 3 stars.
Summary: Here is my comparison review of the Neato Signature Pro, iRobot Roomba 780, and the LG Hom-Bot Square. I bought and tested all three, and ended up keeping the Neato and returned the other two. Here are the details of our comparison and review of each model: iRobot Roomba 780 - It is one of the dumber vacuum robots on the market, because it lacks the more advanced navigation abilities that competitors have, while costing more than some of them.
Summary: First, what you get doesn't look quite like the photo (only one switch on top) it keeps your iRobot vaccum from going places you don't want it too. Works good at that! It is kind of overpriced for what is is - but hey, better than having your iRobot wandering all over. By the way, the iRobot vaccums are excellent.
