  • Summary: The iRobot Roomba 650 is a great lightweight vacuum cleaner, and the patented cleaning system makes it helpful for cleaning up after your pets. This vacuum offers strong suction capacity and works hard to keep your floors clean. All in all, this is one of the best robotic vacuum cleaners money can buy.
  • Pros: The Roomba 650 can clean for four hours on one charge, which is exceptionally long in the world of robot vacuums.
  • Cons: It lacks a height adjustment feature.

iRobot Roomba 650 Review

12 February 2014
  • Summary: This mid-level robot vacuum is great for folks with kids or pets who can afford to spend but aren’t willing to fork out top dollar for a high-end robot cleaner. Reviews for this model are overwhelmingly positive so it’s hard not to have a look at this even though it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of a 760 or even an 880 . It only comes with one virtual wall so it will be best utilized to clean one room at a time.
  • Pros: Can be scheduled to clean at different times once a day, 7 days a week, It’s around a hundred bucks cheaper than the best setting Roomba 760, Transitions well from one type of surface to another, Larger dirt bin compared to the 500-series, Improved cleaning brushes compared to the 500-series, Decent sized dirt bin, According to reviews side brush works well in cleaning edges
  • Cons: Not very good cleaning multiple rooms, best utilized to clean on a per room basis, Brush bar, side brushes and wheels needs to be cleaned frequently – particularly hair, Dirt bin isn’t fully sealed so it can be a bit messy to clean up, No HEPA filtration, Can get “confused” between the legs of tables or chairs, Constantly bumps into objects so if you have expensive furniture, get it out of the way

iRobot Roomba 650 Review

12 August 2013
  • Conclusion: Unless you’ve got a really small place with a lot of open floor space, you’re probably not going to get by with a Roomba as your only vacuum. But, it does do an excellent job of keeping high-traffic areas tidier between vacuuming, especially with small children or pets doing their best to keep it busy. And, it’s just so damn chipper about its mundane job, we had a really hard time saying goodbye.
  • Pros: Cleans rooms while you sleep, Powerful suction, Easy to empty and maintain, Navigates most surfaces and transitions without incident
  • Cons: Long charge times, No battery meter on unit, Only works well in clearly defined spaces
