Summary: I did a lot of research before buying this Roomba back in 2011. I don't regret it at all, my Roomba is still pushing on strong. JUST as strong as the first day I ran it, actually. I have read the different negative reviews about this, and feel I have to weigh in.
Summary: I was surprised at how much dirt and dust this little vaccum picks up. We have a long hair cat and it also gets the pet hair up off the floor and rugs. We have tile, wood and rugs in our house. Beware if you are a geek household; it doesn't like cords.
Cleans very well, but requires so much maintenance!

Summary: My husband and I received this roomba two years ago for a wedding gift. We have a very small apartment that is all carpet. I try to run Roomba about once a week. We've got one small cat who doesn't shed much, but it's actually my hair that's the problem.
Summary: Every week I simply release The Beaver into one of several areas, and away it goes, beavering away under beds and desks, along kitchen cupboards, and over all the visible carpets and hard-floor areas.
Summary: This is indeed a great little machine. However despite all the hype everyone should be aware of all the drawbacks. Sometimes tedious drawbacks. 1. This is not for heavy cleaning, expect only maintenance level cleaning. Every few days. 2.

Summary: I run it everyday or the dirt cup fills up too soon, but I start it when I leave for work and come home to clean floors. I bought it on clearance at target for half of this price - that doesn't matter. I will buy the most deluxe model at whatever price when this one wears out.
Summary: A robot that can vacuum the floors? For years, we figured this was just too far-out to even be possible. But finally, after looking for some help around the house, we thought we'd give it a try. It's not science fiction. It's real. We would give up our smartphones -- but you can't have our Roomba.
Summary: I never imagined a vacume cleaner this small could do such a great job, but it does. I've always purchased vacume cleaners based on the amp of the motor. 12 amp meant a powerful motor and a lot of sucking power. Yet this thing, really cleans and does a fantastic job.
