Excellent value for a budget bagless upright vacuum

Summary: So, lots of cons for this inexpensive vacuum, but don't be deceived - if you want a simple, low-cost but effective upright vacuum for moderate cleaning and not for the attachment tool utility, this is pretty much ideal.
Pros: - Strong suction, impressive - Bagless system is logical and well-designed: easy to remove, handle, empty and clean, and reattach - Reasonably lightweight - Like the size and accessibility of the HEPA filter element - Easy to push around - Bottom-line: does the job, vacuums the carpets and floors...
Cons: - Cord management is wonky, the top 'hook' tab spins far too easily, had to tighten up the screw myself to make it stop dumping the whole cord as soon as I pulled off one loop of cord, but the screw works its way loose again... - Awkward on-off switch placement, but you can get used to it - Clunk...
Excerpt: This unit is pretty heavy, which makes it difficult if you have stairs. I like the hand attachment for stairs, but the hose could be longer. Good suction. When you empty it, you get dust particles all over the outside of the unit. I would recommend buying a lighter unit.
Summary: The best part about this machine, frankly is that Staples had the absolute best deal- it's the model one step up from the ne that was advertised on sale and I wound up getting the sale price anyway. Add a $10 off coupon and it was a deal!. At least $20 less that any of the local big boxes.

Summary: Hoover wind tunnel UH70805 Very well packaged and even comes double boxed. I think this can even withstand UPS delivery. Very easy to assemble. Remove one Phillip’s head screw, slide the handle assy. down into the unit and reattach the screw; done.
