Summary: I have read many of the poor reviews on here, and I have to say I'm surprised. I bought mine back in 2010 from Best Buy. Since then,I have lost many of the attachments because my kids liked to play with them. Other than that, I love this vacuum cleaner. It's still got great suction to this day. I clean the roller about once a year and clean the filter about twice a year.
Summary: A good friend recommended the smaller Hoover for my home needs. It is almost perfect (almost because who really wants to vacuum?) It is lightweight, compact, and has powerful suction! If you don't need a giant vacuum for your home then this one should work great for you. The filters are easy to find and one is washable; clean out the same as many bagless vac's.
Excerpt: I bought this for our office. We have 3 dogs who come to work each day and shed quite a lot. The WindTunnel does a marvelous job of picking up the dog hair. It's super easy to empty!Another great feature is that it is light weight, easy to maneuver and has cleaning tools on board for various needs.
Excerpt: So far so good! It is so lightweight and easy to maneuver. The suction on the Hoover WindTunnel Air is crazy!!! Brand new, my Kenmore Progressive Canister never had this much suction. I have two dogs and the Hoover has no problem keeping up with them. I've read reviews about the attachments coming apart, my machine is too new, so I cannot confirm. however, the small brush attachments will not stay attached to the back of the machine for storage.
Excerpt: Before we got this vacuum at a really terrific price; we were using a Dirt Devil. What a difference! Also, this unit has a washable filter! Needless to say, the office is much cleaner now and I look forward to using it?!?!?! It does what it is supposed to do.
