Summary: Was broken before I even took it out of the box, glue that held the hoses together stinks. Luckly I have gorrila glue and fixed the problem, suction is ok out of the wand but not very good from floor . Dont waste your money.
Summary: While the vacuum is light and has good suction, I plan to return it. The first day it was used, the hose came unglued/broke and constantly twists out of the handle when using the attachments. It's terrible. I'm incredibly dissppointed with this vacuum.
Summary: My previous vacuum was a Bissell that I paid less than $75 for and it worked great until it all of a sudden died on me after 5 years of use. I read reviews about the Hoover Wind tunnel and thought I'd step it up a notch and buy an even better vacuum cleaner for a little more money. NOT SO! On my very first use I had to stop and dig the debris out of the hose after every 2 to 3 minutes.
Summary: I was pleased when I got this vacuum. It's easy to put together, has a nice long cord, and is MUCH less expensive than a Dyson. But... I have had it for 4 months now, and don't have a lot of carpet, so it's pretty lightly used. EVERY SINGLE HOSE CONNECTION HAS BROKEN APART, I have had to tape it with duct tape until I get a new vacuum. What a terrible disappointment. I just can't recommend this vacuum in any way.
Summary: We bought this about a month ago used it aprox 3 times so far, and the attachment hose twice, when doing basic corners the hose became unattached/unglued, now I did read the other reviews and thought by now the problem would have been fixed, but no, so we returned it to Sears and explained the issue, and bought the new model that swivels, hoping the hose is better attached now, it seems just by looking at it that it is....
Summary: C'mon guys, whats it been, a hundred years these things have been around? Why can't they make a vacuum that is useful. This is my fifth vacuum (over 7 years) so far including a couple roombas. I own a 1800 sq ft house with two dogs. My main focus is to pick up all the dog hair. And it's as if the designers of vacuums don't realize people have dogs. Oh, they put the word "pet" on the side of the machine. But there is no discernible difference between either style.
Great Vacuum Suction But Lower Attachment Hose Always Breaks
Noah's Ark, Amazon
19 April 2013
Summary: The design of the motor, canister, and floor brush are great and really clean very well. However this model has a manufacturing defect in the lower hose collar that is used to disconnect the main hose from the floor brush when attachments are used. The main plastic hose is not securely attached to the latching collar and is only held on to the collar by flimsy threading of the hose wall and a little glue.
Summary: vacuum rocks but they have a problem with the hose. ours broke right away and we had to contact Hoover for resolution. they admitted theyve had a problem with this hose and the part was backordered for over a month.
