Summary: I have read many of the poor reviews on here, and I have to say I'm surprised. I bought mine back in 2010 from Best Buy. Since then,I have lost many of the attachments because my kids liked to play with them. Other than that, I love this vacuum cleaner. It's still got great suction to this day. I clean the roller about once a year and clean the filter about twice a year.
Summary: Unfortunately, we had to return the vacuum and won't replace it with another. It worked fine until we got to the Persian rug in our living area. My husband could barely push it and I could not push it at all. He said he had the same problem on another area rug we have. The wall-to-wall carpeting in the bedroom was not a problem. He spoke with the Hoover representative who explained there was only on level of suction.
Summary: A good friend recommended the smaller Hoover for my home needs. It is almost perfect (almost because who really wants to vacuum?) It is lightweight, compact, and has powerful suction! If you don't need a giant vacuum for your home then this one should work great for you. The filters are easy to find and one is washable; clean out the same as many bagless vac's.
Summary: I have this vacuum and I must say I HATE IT! Last year all of my carpeting had been replaced with newer rugs and using this vacuum is a workout for your arms! My living room has a thicker rug and it can be difficult to vacuum. The rugs that were taken out it did fine on (very thin rugs with no padding under them) it was as if I was vacuuming a hardwood floor which also does great on by the way. But if you have thicker rugs, don't waste your money!
Summary: This is my second one. Sadly it only lasted 2 years then the mot or started to smell like it was burning. Rather than go crazy trying to have it fixed I got a new one. This is a little better designed than the last one. It smells of plastic when you vacuum. Also doesn't seem to be as strong in it's suction. Not sure. It's convenient and pretty good. If this one breaks down however it will be the last one I get.
Summary: While I did not purchase mine here at Walmart, was purchased at my local Target store, I wanted to share my experience with this vacuum. I really wanted to give this at least a 4 but that would be a lie. For some reason, the suction on this thing is great on carpet, compared to a Kirby I purchased. However, when it came to vacuuming the linoleum in my kitchen, not so great.
Summary: When I first saw this vacuum I thought it was too lightweight to have a powerful suction. It worked perfectly on my wood floors so I thought it would be worth keeping just for my wood and tile. I tried it on my thick carpets and, wow, it nearly sucked the rugs up. Great suction!. I need to see if there are additional attachments to reach under furniture (I have two dogs and a cat) but I would definitely repurchase this vacuum and I do recommend it.
Summary: So far so good, I have it for about two weeks, and so far is working great, light weight, easy to put together, easy to hook the wand and most importantly easy to clean, after vacuum. Was deliver earlier that what I was expected, everything looks as expected.
