Summary: I bought this machine 2 years ago for a rental unit at the beach. So not only does it pick up dog hair, but also sand all the time. I have no had one problem with it. I realize people are complaining about things like, attachments, and the shortness of the cord, but no matter what size cord I get, I...
Summary: I love this vacuum with the 2 problems being that since I have a LOT of pets and therefor pet hair, I have to empty the collection cup more often then I would like. The 2nd issue is that the attached hose is too short.
Summary: Ok, I bought this vacuum November of 2012, I waited to rate it because EVERY vacuum works great at first, but after a year or two they start to now work so well. I can honestly say it still works like new as long as you clean the filters, and empty the canister.
Summary: So far, I am very pleased with this vacuum, though I have had it less than a week. With two cats in the household, the pet hair special attachment does an amazing job of suctioning up all the fur they constantly shed. I like the rewind cord feature and the fact that the cord is quite long.
Summary: I have always had trouble getting cat hair out of the carpet, even tried buying special brushes. Nothing seemed to work well. Since I needed a new vacuum anyway, I researched this subject and this vacuum came up as the 2nd best choice. However, it was far less expensive than the #1 ranked vacuum.
Summary: Six pets live in our home, three cats and three dogs. Pet hair is always an issue, not only in the carpet, but on furniture, too. I read about/reviewed several vacuums before I decided on this model. I am not disappointed with it's performance.
Summary: The vacuum cleans very well, pulls up a lot of carpet dirt. I have a Siberian Husky, and 4 cats, and about half of my 1100sq ft space is covered in carpet. I have to empty the canister 2-3 times during a typical vacuum, which is about what I was doing with my last vacuum.
Summary: After less than six months use. It is impossible to clean the Vacuum with just a rinse. Dirt builds up and packs in, it cannot be removed without disassembly. The dirt cup has four long screws and three short screws.
