Very unexpected problem using the hose and wand on this thing, My back!
12 December 2014
Summary: Great suction and nice that it's lightweight, BUT.....I live with a house of all floors and no carpet, so the pet hair mostly ends up against all of the base boards and behind any & everything in each room, So! I use the hose attachment for reaching behind everything, and need as much length as possible. This thing isn't as long, the tube that's attached to the accordion style hose. I wish that was my only complaint, but it gets worse.
Excerpt: I have ceramic tile and hardwood floors in my house. This is an excellent wet vac to have for these uses. The more flat your floor, the better it works. We have 2 dogs and we live in the country.
Summary: yep I paid $400 for a Dyson. I did it. I admit it. And this unit was better. I feel stupid I admit it. So here's what happened. We moved into a new place with just as much hard wood as rugs. So we used my shop vac with a floor attachment for the wood and a Panasonic vac we had for the rugs. Well the Panasonic died. Dead ...time for a new vac... Enter one to many Dyson commercials. I THOUGHT hey I can get down to one vac...it does hard wood and carpets...perfect..
Summary: I just received my Hoover yesterday and I must say it definetely picked up more dust and dander than previous vacuum. I have a shag rug in my living room and it did a great job. I still had to use two hands to glide the vacuum over the shag rug but it did a better job than previous vacuums. I would say that the hose is too short though which is a reason I am giving 4 stars. Also would like to see how long it lasts before I give it a higher review.
Summary: A powerful vacuum cleaner that just works as you expect, it seems to get a lot of dirt out of carpets that seem clean to the eye. We got this one because of the price (less that $100) and the brand name (Hoover), we saved some money by not getting the auto cable return, there were reports that these didn't work as well as they should. We have has this for a while now and it is still working like new, the tools you get with the unit are fine, they all work perfectly.
Summary: I have owned Hoover Windtunnel Vacuums for the past 18 years now and wouldn't use anything else. This newest model is excellent with superior suction and cleaning. The price in unbelievable for the product. I have 2 dogs and the pickup of the dog hair is great!!! My carpet looks new after vacuuming that is how much suction it has. You won't be disappointed with this purchase, don't spend more money on another model or brand.
Summary: I am so happy that I decided on this vacuum...and believe me, I did my research! I could not believe how much "gunk" it sucked out of my carpet! I had vacuummed the day before with my previous vacuum, then used the Hoover, and it looked like I hadn't vacuummed in years! It is so lightweight and glides across the floor and is great by the baseboards. The attachments work great too...the hose has excellent suction, and I love the "mini vacuum" attachment for my stairs.
Summary: I like this unit, it has good suction and it cleans well, the attachments make sense and the wand even has decent suction. The only real issue I have ever had with the unit was after we did some sanding in the home we tried to use it to clean up after and it just isnt really designed to handle that kind of dust so it clogged up the machine.
