Summary: Great performance at a more than reasonable price. Light weight and easy to use; does a great job getting dog hair off the carpet no matter what the thickness. The best improvement would be a longer hose or a secure connected extension hose to use the attachments. I have no regrets since purchasing my Tempo.
Summary: I wanted a vacuum that was versatile and still lightweight so I could haul it around easily. I have had the power version of this vacuum in the past and like the HEPA features including the dust bag. It works great! I wish there were more color options, but then, it is a vacuum. It is an excellent value for the price.
Summary: I bought this from Amazon and have had it for some months now. We have 2-dogs and 5-cats. It works extremely well. It was recommended highly by CU as a best buy. SO far, I have no reason to doubt the CU evaluation. Going to buy one for my daughter for XMAS. She has 1-dog and 4-main coon cats. I think she'll appreciate it.
Summary: I've owned janitorial and housecleaning businesses for decades. We only use products that WORK WELL, and the Hoover Tempo is an all-time favorite. This vac will suck the hide off a hog. Nothing on the market is better for pet hair. In a perfect world, the only things I would change on the Tempo are making it lighter, and a tad more maneuverable. I've had a Hoover Tempo in my own home for several years, vacuum once a week, and am still using the belt it came with.
Summary: I purchased the Hoover U5140900 Tempo Widepath for three reasons. First, this is a rather lite weight upright. Second the cleaning or suction power of this unit is exeptional. And the last reason I purchased this was the cost factor. In fact, I am seriously thinking of obtaining another exact same unit for the upstairs usage. Also this was the first purchase from Amazon and the service was very good.
Summary: Works reliably and has good suction power. I'm buying it for the second time. The first one lasted for five years, but started dying after being run without a bag inside for several housewide vacuum sessions - yeah, we should have noticed. You could spend quite a bit more before you would do better than this vacuum.
Summary: I've owned this vacuum for nearly a year and have had not one problem. Purchased it on advice of consumer website. With two dogs, a cat and kids, I have always had problems with belts breaking. Not so with this one. So far so good, anyway. Yes, it's cheap. Got mine for $80. When you see it and pick it up, you know it's cheap. But then you turn it on, WHOE NELLIE, it takes off like a bandit. Awesome suction!
Summary: Great little vacuum if all you want to do is vacuum floors. Not perfect, but reasonable on stairs as the attachments aren't the best. This is a case of you get what you pay for. It's a very inexpensive vacuum that performs really well. If you're looking for frills, nothing to see here folks!
