Summary: Hoover MultiCyclonic Canster SH40060 I love this sweeper have been using for about 3 months. I only have bare floors, and a couple throw rugs. You can extend the wand if you happen to need it for a more comfortable height.
Summary: I bought this 18 months ago. For the first 3 months it worked as described. Then the problems started. Hair started gumming up the motorized brushroll. Then the brushroll seized up because the plastic brushroll rotates in a plastic slot and they melted together.
Summary: Cord is much to short for convenience. No height adjustment on rug beater head makes doing thicker carpet very difficult. Very non-maneuverable and so much harder to use than a good upright. This purchase was a mistake... Should have gotten a good upright and a light duty cannister model!
Pros: good suction
Cons: short cord, no head adjustment, tips easily, limited tools, short hose, average quality materials
Summary: My old vacuum was an upright and like the one I had before, only lasted a few years before it stopped doing the job. I decided to switch to a canister this time and I'm already hooked on this one. It easy to manuever, the cord is just the right length and the suction gets my area rugs really clean.
Summary: We have had this vacuum cleaner for about a year and a half of light use on hardwood floors and an occasional throw rug. It worked fine and I loved it until the motor suddenly slowed down and it started smelling like burning wires.
Summary: The vacuum works great. I can vacuum my whole 3 bedroom apartment without loosing suction. The motorized head works real well on both hardwood and carpet areas. The attachments store conveniently in the handle and are easy to change.
Summary: Bought the vacum to use under the beds and furniture and the stairwell. It is easy to carry and great for a cannister since cannisters are never as good as uprights but are great for hard to get to places. Only complaint; very difficult to empty dust and have to use your hand to get it out.
