Summary: I am very pleased with may new vac. I love the furniture brush roller attachment. Does a great job picking up pet hair. Also, I am pleased with the power of the unit. It is just as good as my $1,500 Rainbow vac and I don't have to deal with the water.
Summary: I am just about to throw a $250 vacuum in the trash. This machine cannot possibly have more than 25 hours on it. I had to bring it for service after the 1st use. I was told it simply needed a belt. The problem is, this vacuum just isn't powerful enough. I have hardwood floors with oriental area rugs, and not high quality thick ones, mind you. We have replaced the belt more than 5 times and my husband has had to replace the fuse a few times too. Piece of JUNK.
Summary: Bought this only because only Kenmore service centers can work on Kenmore vacuums. I should have just gotten my 6 year old Kenmore vacuum fixed. This vacuum didn't last a single year. If there is worse customer service than Hoover I have not yet experienced it. If you want a disposable vacuum then this is for you.
Summary: Would love to comment on the vacuum but after two tries, we couldn't get one delivered to the local Wal-Mart without the packaging being torn and broken handle parts sticking out-packaging was damaged in the exact same place...twice! We'll try Sears.
Summary: I opened my vacuum to find a very cheap plastic toy like vacuum. It is not worth the money I spent on it. To top it off when I plugged it in, there was nothing. No sound, no suction, no nothing. It did not work at all. I was afraid to purchase a Hoover Windtunnel because the upright I had in the past was bad, I thought maybe they improved through the years, they've gotten worse.
Summary: I bought this vacuum largely based on positive reviews in Consumer Reports. What a disappointment. I agree with the all the other negative comments I have read here. The attachments are of cheap plastic and some don't stay on well. (There is one small attachment that has two parts which seem to be in constant divorce proceedings.) The light in the power nozzle stopped working the second time I used the vacuum. The hose is cheap and gets kinked easily.
Summary: We've experienced the exact same thing as a lot of other posters - this is the worst vacuum that I've ever purchased. The handle broke twice from the cheap plastic and then something happened with the electricals. All of this within 6 months. My wife only weighs 100lbs and we live in a 1200sqft condo, she might use it every other week but that's all.
Summary: I just ordered this vacuum after a lot of research. I was tired of the baggless upright that I have been getting the past couple of years. Anyway, this vacuum is such a pleasure! First of all, I have a "Marley" dog who is a shedding machine. I hate dog fur more than anything, and I needed a vacuum that would pick up a Labrador Retrievers hair. They are like hairs sticking to velcro, and no other vacuum could even touch the hairs on my carpet.
Summary: I was very excited to purchase a new vacuum. This product has great power. But I find it to be very cumbersome. I am totally worn out by the time I've finished my small house. The hose is too stiff and the wand is to big. The handle you hold is too big, and not styled for comfort. I don't like the hard floor attachment and am using my old one. I am sorry I didn't send it back, but thought I'd get use to it.
