Summary: The main reason I bought this vacuum is for the Lithium Ion battery system. It is one of only two or three models out there with this kind of battery and frankly it is a must if you want the thing to run longer than 30 seconds before getting weak. So far, it has been a good vacuum.
Summary: I like that I can use the same battery with both the Hoover Linx handheld vac and the Hoover Linx stickvac. I love almost everything about the handheld. Great suction and so easy to use on the carpeted stairs. The only complaint I have is I cannot remove the dirt cup no matter how hard I try.
Summary: This is the best hand vacuum I've ever used. Here are some of the pros: 1. The battery lasts long enough to vaccum the living room and kitchen floor including the stairs. 2. The vaccum has full suction until the battery completly dies - it doesn't putter out just shuts down completly. 3.
Summary: I purchased this mainly b/c I have a lot of pet hair to deal w/and needed something to clean the stairs. The motorized brush attachment is great for this purpose. It definitely picks up the dog hair, which is not so easy since I have a Dalmatian mix (the fur has barbed ends and sticks to...
Summary: My previous cordless handheld was a Dirt Devil Extreme Power. The Hoover BH50030 has an 18V motor versus the 15.6V motor of the Dirt Devil, which suggests possibly 15% more power. It does seem to have more suction, but the difference isn't night and day.

A Powerful and Versatile Hand Vacuum Thanks to the Motorized Brush
Derek Chen, Amazon
22 September 2011
Summary: I bought this vacuum primarily for cleaning stairs since my family lives in a condo with lots of stairs. It was a huge pain to lug the big Dyson around, but I also didn't want to pay $300 for the cordless Dyson with a motorized brush.
Summary: I'm glad I found this worthy alternative to Dyson's pricey cordless vac. Pros: * Lithium-ion battery that doesn't fade (runs at full power until dead). Has LED guage for battery life left. * Motorized brush works great at "fluffing up" my newly carpeted stairs and picking up the dog hair.
Summary: Positives: easy and very convenient to use, works well, has lots of suction power. Love the various attachments especially the power brush head. I like the battery capacity remaining charge indicator.
