Summary: Yes... It works great. But it needs a wall mount with charger ala "dustbuster" circa 1980's. Swapping the batteries to the charger gets old This is something you want everyone to grab and go... and put up for next use quickly.
Works, but defective after 4 months used less than 1/2 dozen times; Replacement is well a funny process .. read on.

Summary: Okay , When it works it, works well.. The waste container is a bit of a pain to twist on an off, could have been built a bit better.. BUT Mine died after 4 months. Not the battery as I have 2 other LINX batteries etc.. So within 4 months time DEAD.. Called Hoover..
Summary: I have never written a review of ANY product I have ever bought, but the Linx is so great I had to. I've always been a dog person and always disliked cats (much to my cat-loving-husband's dismay) - until Mr. Boo wandered into our lives in 2013 and decided to stay.
Great For Care and Stairs. Great Dyson Alternative. All Li-Ion Batteries Require Special Care, Though. See Below.

Summary: --Summary-- Comfortable to hold and use, very powerful (especially for a hand-held), has good battery life, and the motorized brush head is killer at cleaning stairs and car interior carpeting. Put against one of the Dyson stick vacs set up as a hand vac, it gives comparable results.
Excerpt: Great little vacuum! I can't believe how effective the roller brush is at removing cat hair. Plows through all sorts of little messes, and the battery stays charged for ~2 weeks, with every other day use for 1-2 minutes at a time.
Pros: Easy To Empty, Good battery life, Great Pet Hair Removal, Powerful/Good Suction
Summary: Lots of power! I recently used baking soda to remove the dog smell in my sofa, this Hoover made clean up a breeze. I also use this for the carpet on my stairs and it is so easy. Light weight and powerful. Emptying the canister is no problem and I love the washable filter!
Summary: This is a great portable vacuum. The battery does last a nice long time. I usually keep it in the charger when not in use to ensure it is fully ready when I need it. The only hard part is getting the container off the machine when emptying it. It does take a bit of muscle to twist it off.
