  • Summary: This machine is so powerful. It has the suction to do the job on all types of surfaces. I'm so glad I decided on this one. I paid more than I was hoping to on a new vac....but you get what you pay for and this one is great and worth every penny.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Purple Dot "Dot", Amazon
13 December 2014
  • Summary: I would never buy this vacuum again. The electrical cord is not long enough. The vacuum hose is always getting kinked and twisted. I received my vacuum in July 2014. In November 2014 it quit working. Would not turn on. I took it to Eureka authorized repair store. They said so much was wrong with it that it was not worth repairing so they ordered me a new one. I will see how long this one works. The repair shop told me this Eureka model had a lot of problems.

DEEMATT, Walmart
8 December 2014
  • Summary: Tired of talking about problems with vacuums but I must because we all need them! This vacuum is a good one. Never having a swivel head takes getting use to. Goes under furniture with nice ease.. Only serious con is the loss of suction (beater bar) seems to die a little when switched from hose. As always the hose could be longer. God bless the manufacturer that finally does that one!!!

The light is nice, but has a very short life

Paul E. Scraggs, Amazon
24 November 2014
  • Summary: 1. The light is nice, but has a very short life, probably about an hour. Replacement bulb didn't last any longer. Guess I will live without the light. 2. I don't care for the handle wanting to rotate 90 degrees from center. If you want to vacuum in a straight line, you must hold pressure on the handle to keep it straight. 3.

The vacuum does a good job on carpet and on wood floors

Jim H., Amazon
3 November 2014
  • Summary: The vacuum does a good job on carpet and on wood floors. Easy to get under the furniture. No bags to buy. I don't like the short cord,I bought a 15 ft heavy duty extension cord to use to get my whole house. The beater and wand doesn't stand up by its self so have to make sure it's not going to fall and break something. The hose is a little stiff could be a more flexible. Nice vacuum for the money, its hard to find a good canister vacuum now days.

The suction is pretty good. I like the bagless canister even though ...

Rachel, Amazon
31 October 2014
  • Summary: The suction is pretty good. I like the bagless canister even though it is messy. Other than that it is a plastic piece of junk. The pins that hold the attachments in place keep breaking and it is not holding up to regular (twice a week) use after a few months. Also the cord is pretty short but I think most retractable cords are. I would not buy this vacuum again. I should say that Amazon has been great to deal with though.
