Summary: Before I bought this vacuum I decided to read all kind of reviews to be sure , that I will not make mistake . I was looking for some Vacuum without any complains but..........well, there will be always some people who will complain about something so finally I decided to buy Eureka . And I made good decision ! This Vacuum is small , light , easy to work . Some people wrote that it is not good to work on the carpet but....that's totally nonsense !!
Summary: This is a great vacuum for cleaning corners and around edges, but the floor attachment is too narrow to do any good as a general floor vacuum unless you live in a very small area. Using it as a floor vacuum takes forever because it doesn't have a very wide cleaning tool. The suction is great. If they'd beef it up so it could do large areas, I'd give it 5 stars. But I'm shopping for a bigger vacuum to use for most cleaning because it's just too small.
Summary: This is a basic cannister vacuum that is inexpensive and works well. It is lightweight, so easy to maneuver. It has good suction, and does a good job on hard flooring. It comes with a standard set of attachments, that are adequate for my cleaning needs. The vacuum does not have a motorized head to really beat the dirt out of a carpet. However, if you have good oriental rugs or woven, natural fibers, you specifically shouldn't use the motorized head kind anyway.
Summary: I bought this because it was cheap, and at the time I had only hardwood to deal with. For wood floors it is a good buy, but for carpet it's simply not powerful enough. The bags are easy to replace and the vacuum is lightweight. The attachments fall off really easily so I just keep them in the closet. The retractable cord is a nice feature.
Summary: We have had our Eureka ReadyForce canister vacuum for about 2 years, and it has been great. For the price, you cannot beat it. The first floor of our house has all white tile floors, and we have 3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 young children. You can imagine the mess that creates. This vacuum has handled it with no problem! For less than $100, I could not be happier. The only issue we have after 2 years of heavy use is that the retractable cord is now retracting itself during use.
Summary: You can say what you want but I hate the bagless vacuum cleaners. When I go to empty them I get that dust everywhere. The smell that they put into the room should be filtered and play havoc with my allergies. With the bag everything is contained.
Summary: Since my nasty back condition as grown worse I have need of lightweight, yet powerful, tools to manage my household needs. This small unit has the same power as my larger models and is easy to use. It follows along like an obedient little R2D2 robot and allows me to do everything I need. Bag replacements are inexpensive and hold a lot. No CONS for this unit ... it's just that good.
Summary: I saw this on sale somewhere else last "black Friday", good deal and the cord winds up. Nice, I thought my house cleaning lady would like it better since it has a cord rewinder. I also have a Mighty Mite, we both like the Mighty Mite better. Much larger bag, like three times bigger! More suction, I have a LOT of throw rugs on oak floors and it actually sucks the rug off the floor!
Summary: I puchased this at Best Buy since I needed a vacuum in a hurry for my basement to replace a Eureka Mighty Mite whose motor burned out after five years of every day use. The Ready Force was on a big sale at less than $40 and they did not carry the Mighty Mite. The hose separated into two pieces soon after I got it and I called Eureka to get a second hose. This too separated and I glued it together with glue and duct tape.
