Summary: I bought it in 2013 (Don't remember if I wrote a review for this thing). I would have given a five star, but mine overheated and broke last month. The warranty only cover one year, and mine stopped working after 3 years (light use, regular emptying and cleaning).
Summary: 5 stars for hose suction, 1 star for brush roll. I bought this for car cleaning, so the suction & crevice tool were my main concern and I could not be more pleased with this aspect of the vacuum; best of any hand held I have ever owned. However, the brush roll is useless for it's intended purpose.
Summary: I bought this hand vac to replace my Black & Decker which I could no longer buy belts for. The suction seems good but noticed it was hard to handle on my stairs, like hard to push and pull if not perfectly even. I like the clear canister to see the dirt sucked up.
Summary: Well its better then the blue shark one I also have but not as nice as the 12 year old hoover platinum one I had. Unfortunetly this seems like its going to be the best handheld with a hose that is available to buy. I would be pleased with this one if two things were fixed.
Summary: I have only used the vacuum twice since purchasing. Even though it has a motorized beater brush, it is still hard to push forward along the carpet on my stairs. Maybe it is the nap of the carpet, or a wearing-down of the carpet, but the vacuum works better if I pull it back instead of forward.
Excerpt: The Eureka Easy Clean sits in my closet. It worked great for the first 6-8 months then it lost a lot of suction. I cleaned it out but no luck. I also hate the fact that is isn't cordless. Having a cord to deal with is a huge pain.
Summary: It looks good and I thought having the hose would be a plus. It's just to heavy for me to be using it as much as I use my hand vac. I have 2 cats, so I use mine a lot. This would probably be good for a garage or workbench.
