Summary: I've tried dirt devil vacs, Hoover vacs, upright and canisters, and not one was good. It was either too loud, no suction, or just spit everything everywhere. The first time I used this vacuum I was so relieved and amazed!
Summary: How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways. Most importantly, this thing is just cumbersome. You have to carefully carry the POS caister part and the hose/nozzle thing in different hands, but it's so flimsy that you need both hands not to make it fall apart.
Summary: I bought this product at a local store. I switched from an upright bagless. Here are some pros and cons: Pro- it's smaller and more light weight than our old upright so my kids can use it. it has a bag so you don't have to breathe dirt and dust.
Summary: I came across these reviews while buying vacuum bags off amazon. It's true - You buy the vacuum from Target and then they don't have the bags anymore. That's Target for you. Luckily we stocked up before they stopped carrying them, and now I am going to stock up on bags from amazon.
Summary: I bought this vacuum eight months ago to replace a heavy upright that I was sick of lugging around. The first few times I used it, I really liked it. It is light-weight and has decent suction.
Carpet cleaning attatchement stopped working the second time I tried to use it

Summary: I have wood and tile floors with area rugs, so I need a vacuum that can do both, however, the electric carpet brush on this vacuum stopped working the second time I used it. Now, I have several pets, so I thought that maybe pet hair was caught - nope, it just wasn't working.
Summary: This turned out to be a pretty good little vacuum. Very lightweight, but then I've been using an ancient Rainbow and a bagless Dirt Devil, so just about ANY vacuum would feel lighter. The 6833D has nice pickup power and the power beater bar is very effective.
