Summary: How do I loathe thee? Let me count the ways. Most importantly, this thing is just cumbersome. You have to carefully carry the POS caister part and the hose/nozzle thing in different hands, but it's so flimsy that you need both hands not to make it fall apart. So how can you keep both hands on both pieces at once? You can't. Second, canister vacuums are just difficult to use compared to uprights.
Summary: I've tried dirt devil vacs, Hoover vacs, upright and canisters, and not one was good. It was either too loud, no suction, or just spit everything everywhere. The first time I used this vacuum I was so relieved and amazed! It was much more quiet than my other one I could actually hear things in the other room! And the first sweep I took on the rug picked up everything, I didn't even have to go over the same spot twice!
Carpet cleaning attatchement stopped working the second time I tried to use it

Summary: I have wood and tile floors with area rugs, so I need a vacuum that can do both, however, the electric carpet brush on this vacuum stopped working the second time I used it. Now, I have several pets, so I thought that maybe pet hair was caught - nope, it just wasn't working. Add to this that the vacuum bags are difficult to find, and it's just not worth buying this vacuum. If I'd been able to find the receipt, I would have returned this thing pronto.
Summary: I came across these reviews while buying vacuum bags off amazon. It's true - You buy the vacuum from Target and then they don't have the bags anymore. That's Target for you. Luckily we stocked up before they stopped carrying them, and now I am going to stock up on bags from amazon. The person who had their roller stop working after two weeks should've returned the vacuum. Why would you keep it? I've had absolutely no issues with this vacuum.
Summary: I bought this vacuum eight months ago to replace a heavy upright that I was sick of lugging around. The first few times I used it, I really liked it. It is light-weight and has decent suction. I have tile throughout my house with a few area rugs so I REALLY liked how well the power brushroll worked on them with a flip of a switch-- that is until it completely stopped working.
Summary: I bought this product at a local store. I switched from an upright bagless. Here are some pros and cons: Pro- it's smaller and more light weight than our old upright so my kids can use it. it has a bag so you don't have to breathe dirt and dust. Con- i have searched in 3 stores for replacement bags and have to order them from amazon. The long cord that stretches from the handle to the canister is more rigid than flexible and gets a kink in it.
Summary: This turned out to be a pretty good little vacuum. Very lightweight, but then I've been using an ancient Rainbow and a bagless Dirt Devil, so just about ANY vacuum would feel lighter. The 6833D has nice pickup power and the power beater bar is very effective. This model differs from the SurfaceMax in blue (don't see a numerical model identification) by having a different style handle grip, a 13 inch cleaning path and an automatic cord rewinder.
