Summary: This sweeper is not worth the money. It does not pick up well and filters need cleaned almost after every use. On a positive note, it is lightweight enough for the children to help with some chores.
Summary: I have two of these. One is an older model. I keep one upstairs and one down stairs. It has great suction and cleans better than a big expensive vaccum. I bought two more for two of my friends. They both love it! One of my girlfriends had an expensive ranbow vaccum and wont use it anymore. This is soooo light weight that a child could use it. The only down side is the filter is very difficult to clean.
Summary: I rated this item with one star because it does not work right. The suction is poor, the brush gets tangled with fuzz, you have to go over the same spot multiple times before it will pick up the smallest piece of lint, paper or other debris. Though it is light weight, that doesn't help when it doesn't pick up. I would not recommend this item to anyone. Stay away. Spend some more bucks on a more substantial vacuum.
Summary: I purchased this for the small apartment of an elderly parent. It plugs into the home electrical system, so no batteries or charging needed, plus it has more power that a battery operated device. The powered brush head does a good job on the carpet. It is small and light so storage is easy and my parent can handle the weight of it. I wouldn't use it for heavy deep cleaning, and there is no other attachments, but it is just right for quick floor cleaning.
Summary: I have a double storey house (with all hardwood floor only) and also already owned a Kirby Sentria vacuum, which works perfectly well. However, for me to carry the heavy Kirby Sentria up and down the stairs is too heavy for me. So, I am looking to buy a simple (and much more affordable) vacuum clearer with the following specifics in mind and this vacuum cleaner has it all: (1) Must have a roller brush while the vacuum is on to pick up extra dust or hair or other small...
Summary: This is my second time purchasing this particular vac. I bought my first one in Sept of 2004. I didn't expect much due to the size and price. I was pleasantly surprised at how effective it was. I loved how light weight it was and how easy it was to negotiate tight spaces and it got under beds and between legs of most furniture. I was amazed that once a week I filled up the dust cup. We had a dog and two cats at that time.
Summary: Good for quick pickups. I already had a quick vac for that. I was hoping it would have a bit more suction. I have a Golden Retriever that sheds tons. The Eureka picks up the hair on the kitchen floor great but not that good on the carpet. The beater bar (brush roller) is not adjustable and drags on our carpet so even though it is extremely light weight which I love, it is really hard to move it on the rug.
Summary: Bought as replacement for one my wife loved and wore out. Light, works well, and afforable. Only issue is the cost of replacement filters that are about 20% of the cost of the vacuum, but you can wash the filter to extend its useful life.
Summary: I have owned Eureka vacuums for many years and am impressed with the quality and longevity of their products. My most recent vacuum was a small one similar to this one and it lasted for 10 years, until the beater bar quit working. When I received this one I was impressed with how easy it was to assemble. I used it immediately and, once again, I am very impressed. This is the lightest vacuum that I have ever owned. It almost feels like a toy, because of the lightness.
