  • Summary: I bought this because it was lighter weight and good price-it also came with the free small Bissell cleaner. The Bissell seemed really flimsy, but it works well in my bathroom for the throw rugs and I ended up really liking it as well. The eureka has good suction -it does have a smaller head than some competitors, but it work well on all my dog hair in the kitchen and living room. The adaptors are good too for the couch, steps, etc.

  • Excerpt: Whenever I look for a vacuum, I always try to shop for something that is specific for pets. I own four dogs, and so it's very VERY essential that I get something that cleans up the hair and dander from around my home. With this one being pet specific? I decided to give it a try. I had not heard anyone rave about Eureka, but I also had not heard bad things either, and it was definitely less expensive than Dyson or Shark.
  • Pros: Lightweight
  • Cons: Inefficient, Poor Design, Unreliable

  • Summary: The delivery for this vacuum took a while but it was worth the wait. I really wasn't sure what to expect considering the price. But, it's really good. Very powerful suction. The paw attachment works well. Sucked up all my cat's hair from his condo and my chairs. Great with the cat litter too.

  • Summary: Have had it for about a week now. Used it in my own residence and on a couple of light residential jobs. It was easy set-up and to operate, suction was good and it was simple to empty. The lightweight size is nice especially when going up/down stairs and transporting between client homes. Only concern is the handle wants to move around even in a locked position. Hasn't broke or anything but only time will tell how well it will hold up. An overall good value.

  • Summary: Adjustable handle allows use in auto with no problem. Beat tool for removing hair is the small brush but it does take time. However, it does the job..

  • Summary: Very happy with my first vacuum purchase! It was a great price and I got free shipping. Arrived on time, easy to assemble, and easy to store away. Bought it because I have two dogs that shed a lot. Picks up the fur well!

Better than average

Knot, McHardy Vacuum
10 February 2015
  • Summary: We replaced our (still working fine) old one with a new one so have one for upstairs AND downstairs. As noted elsewhere-slightly flimsy wheels, and the clip for the filter broke on ours (fixed with crazy glue)---but for that would be a 5 star item...
