Summary: Streamlined, attractively colored stick/hand vac combo ErgoRapido is no problem to store in plain sight. We have this vacuum in several areas of our home and love it! Glad Walmart started to carry the 18 V which is just right for us--cats, garden, etc. Picks up every little speck of dirt, hair, dust, etc. Very powerful but light and quick. No bag; easy to dump out dirt from compartment in hand held piece.
Summary: This portable vacuum has great staying power, a powered brush and light, and is lightweight. Plus, the vacuum itself is removable from the tall unit to act like a portable vacuum. I think the better battery is worth the extra money.
Excerpt: Battery will only stayed charged for 15 minutes - site says 30 minutes. When I called Electrolux they said it is 30 min on low or 18 on high speed, they also said the website disclosed this information - but I only found the 30 minutes run time(so speed mentioned). I cannot get through all my hard floors in one charge.
Summary: Initially we loved having such a convenient solution for light duty cleaning. The Ion has a nice stand which easily accepts the vacuum and immediately starts charging. After about 9 months of use the motor now runs for only a few seconds before shutting off with a low battery indication. When the vacuum unit is removed from the stick it will run with no problems, and the battery indicator shows a full charge.
Summary: This little vac is a powerhouse compared to any other cordless vac I've owned. I was considering a dyson cordless for $300, but while it had the lithium battery like this ELECTROLUX, it was top heavy and difficult to use as a hand vac. The Electrolux has just the features I wanted in a cordless vac, lithium battery for longer life, a detachable hand vac for real tight spots and vehicles, and an 8" wide vacuum head with power brush, and a very nice charging stand at half...
Summary: Love the cordless concept, but run time should be increased to 15-20 min. minimum at this price point. Built-in hand held is great, but the attachments are so tiny they're not terribly useful. Even one reasonably sized brush type attachment would help. With those additions, I'd rate this a 4 or 5, and highly recommend. Nice-to-haves would include: make it stand upright when you pause vacuuming. It falls over. Also, the on-off switch is a little glichey.
Excerpt: wish it would stand up when propped against the cabinet. But must be held else it falls to the floor. T.he battery does hold out long enough to get all my hard wood and tile cleaned which is a plus.
Summary: This one is more powerful than the 12 volt and also has a headlight, which I like. This vacuum is a beautiful, practical, lightweight design. It is easy to assemble and figure out where everything goes and how it works. I have used it on my hardwood and tile floors and then right on to carpet without missing a beat. I really like not having a cord to fall over and fumble with. At full charge, the vacuum is supposed to work for 30 minutes.
Summary: Think of the weak power of a handheld vac, put it on a stick, call it something fancy and that's what this vac is. I wanted something I could use for room-to-room vacuuming upstairs, just 1400 sq. feet, but I can only get 3 rooms done and the power starts to drain. Then it takes 18 hours to fully recharge. It isn't powerful enough for what I wanted. It isn't worth over $20 yet see that outrageous price?
