Summary: We also read a few complaints about wheels that fall off, and some users say the plastic construction doesn't seem durable and is prone to cracks over time. However, those reviewers say Dyson honors the ample five-year warranty and readily sends replacements and makes repairs without hassle.
Pros: Powerful suction, Good at removing pet hair, Self-adjusting brush head
Cons: No onboard attachment storage, Non-retractable cord, Plastic parts prone to cracks
Conclusion: Dyson has produced another fantastic vacuum. The ball allows you to move around the floor easily, and the suction power is tremendous. We were only slightly disappointed with the on board tools.
Pros: Excellent at cleaning carpets and floors, Wide cleaning head, Outstanding at edge cleaning, Very powerful suction, Excellent maneuverability
Cons: Heaviest Ball Vacuum from Dyson, Emptying the dust bin can get messy, Hose is hard to clip back onto the vacuum, High price point
Summary: If your primary cleaning goal is strong suction that will get deep down into your carpets and cracks of your hardwood floors, then we highly suggest considering the Dyson DC41 Animal Compete upright vacuum. This vacuum does a great job at cleaning floors and the inclusion of the tangle-free turbine tool and the 3 additional brush tools really help facilitate cleaning upholstery, furniture and all those hard to reach high or low places that ruthlessly gather hair, dust...
Pros: No extra costs! Filters and belt last the lifetime of the machine. No vacuum bags to buy., Good filtration and a sealed design keeps dust, dirt and allergens contained within the vacuum for clean air as you vacuum., Dyson’s patented cyclone technology captures more dirt and microscopic particles than any other cyclone., DC41 Animal Complete has the latest Radial Root Cyclone™ technology, with remodeled airflow to maximize suction power, reduce turbulence and preserve ...
Cons: The power head is unable to reach under low furniture and vacuum does not lay flat to the floor., No suction adjustment makes it hard to clean small, lightweight scatter rugs or curtains., No foot pedal to release the vacuum into a reclined position. You must place one foot on power head and then pull the vacuum back for it to release., Stretch hose takes a bit of extra effort to expand to its full length., Standard accessory tools are not very useful., Testers would ...
Conclusion: The Dyson DC41 is a fairly new product from Dyson. It is their latest Ball Upright vacuum cleaner and reviews are quite good to date. The DC41 has undergone significant redesign to optimize performance and the result is a very powerful machine with automatic nozzle height adjustment (and a few more upgrades). Consumers like the long power cord and the machine’s ability to pick up pet hair but some find that the vacuum profile makes it difficult to get under furniture.
Pros: Active base plate feature is very effective, Long power cord, Very strong suction, Attachments lock in place, Brushbar with on/off controls, Hose extends easily, Good at picking up pet hair, Long hose
Cons: Active base plate feature is very effective, Long power cord, Very strong suction, Attachments lock in place, Brushbar with on/off controls, Hose extends easily, Good at picking up pet hair, Long hose
Time to test the talk of the town: the Dyson DC41 Animal.
6 September 2011
Conclusion: While the Dyson DC41 Animal is a very powerful, maneuverable, and user-friendly vacuum, it’s not flawless. At an MSRP of $599, anything short of perfection probably won’t satisfy most buyers. Though the Dyson DC41 Animal’s pivoting ball makes it somewhat harder to fit into small spaces, it also adds a great deal of maneuverability. Characteristic Dyson design means there’s a place for everything, and everything easily snaps back into its place.
