Summary: I hate to say it, but this vacuum cleaner is basically a failure. There are lots of reviews of this machine, so I will keep this brief. The low lights: the brush head that comes with the machine is not powered, unlike the upright models. The brush head is spun around by the suction power. This means that if you are trying to vacuum some particularly deep carpet, the brush head just slows down and sometimes even stops.
Summary: I love this vacuum! I've had Dyson uprights, so I looked forward to getting this canister now that we live in a house with all hardwood and tile floors. It does an excellent job on my floors, although I don't use the tool that it came with - I use the "flat out" tool instead because it does a much better job of getting under things. I love how easily it rolls around behind me without smashing into the back of my legs like the old ones used to.
Summary: Like other reviewers, I liked this vacuum at first. Then quickly, I started to hate it. The spinning brush sometimes works, but sometimes doesn't respond to the handle button. It is finicky about what it picks up, and the turbine head constantly gets tangled with dog hair. Worse, the roller ball under the head scratches my wood floor unless I hold the stick up at a 90 degree angle. It has been 3 months and I am done with this product.
