Summary: we bought this vac 3 years ago after being tired of replacing a vac every year or two. in theory, it works great. our problem is that it overheats and shuts off after about 30 minutes, less in some instances.
Summary: I was so excited when I purchased my dyson canister vacuum and initially it performed well. However, the love story ended within 6 months. It manuevers well and the suction is fairly good but it leaves some dog hair on carpets. These are the positives.
Excerpt: Dyson is the best vacuum brand I have ever owned. I purchased this handheld, portable vac about 1 year ago. It is light, easy to maneuver, and battery lasts nearly 45 minutes on a single charge, which is more than enough for the entire home.ManeuverabilityThis vacuum is excellent.

Poor suction, terrible designed cleaning head, overpriced gallery vacuum.

Summary: Good suction on carpet but disappointed with everything else considering the price I paid. Design: good to look at and feels sturdy however this is a fairly large vacuum especially when the hose is attached to main unit for storage.
Summary: Like other reviewers, I liked this vacuum at first. Then quickly, I started to hate it. The spinning brush sometimes works, but sometimes doesn't respond to the handle button. It is finicky about what it picks up, and the turbine head constantly gets tangled with dog hair.
