Excerpt: Like I said before, I would not hesitate to buy thev Dyson brand as a vacuum cleaner . When I was choosing one at Krefel (appliance store), I had specific criteria in mind. I want one which is bagless because I do not like running around Brussels just to look for a recharge (which means that I cannot use the machine when I have to change the bags).
Great replacement filter for Dyson vacuum - feels like a new floor cleaner now.

Summary: I purchased this Dyson vacuum cleaner replacement filter and am glad that I did so. The result is that the vacuum is running like a new floor cleaner. The product arrived quickly and was a good value by cost. I will buy from this seller again. The overall value was five stars.
Summary: Our DC23 was starting to get sluggish and washing the filter seemed to do little to fix it so we decided it was time for a new one. After installing the new filter it is like we have a brand new vacuum. Great suction again!
Summary: 3 years down the road - probably the best time to review this product. We purchased this machine as we have two dogs, we vacuum regularly, this product is not as good as the hype suggests ! Definitely not good value for money ! First thing you notice is that the vac is extremely heavy, it does not do what it say's on the tin regarding sitting squarely on the stairs (as advertised) it regularly falls off the stairs !
Summary: It's the most heavy, weak and smelly vacuum cleaner I ever used. The filter it smells constantly, even if I keep washing it every usage. The dust collector it's always dirty, impossible to be cleaned if not totally disassembled. It's heavy like a hell. it's like to go around with a dead horse on the leash. It's noisy like a Jet turbine, but with a ridiculously weak suction power. Spend your money in a better way and buy whatever else.
Summary: We have always had dysons - but the upright variety. This was a big mistake. I absolutely hate it. it's unwieldy and awkward, it requires a lot of pressure to pick up. I will purchase a dyson again - but not this type. Waste of time, money and energy but stuck with it now as they're too expensive to just throw away!!!
Summary: Today, after only 20 months of use, our DC32 has gone up in smoke. Maybe the dust from our African Grey is not great for a machine, but less than 2 year is a ridiculously short life for a vacuum cleaner. I bought the Dyson based on its reputation and to try out a bagless vacuum cleaner, but it turned out to be very disappointing. Maybe bad luck, but also in use it has never become our friend as the vacuum lacks power in comparison with our previous Miele.
Summary: So I know there are a lot of you Dyson lovers out there but to tell the truth, I wish I had spent $500 getting my 20 year old Miracle MAte refurbished. Here are my complaints. I have the DC Animal canister with turbine head, I HATE the turbine head, what a stupid idea. It works when it feels like working, if you suck up anything bigger that a little scrap of paper it jams, and if the canister (I'll get to that) is even 1/2 full the turbine head doesn't work.
Summary: This is the second Dyson we've had. The first one lasted 15 years. This one lasted one year. The quality of the machine is awful. The tube is cheap and turns in on itself too easily. Both of our turbine heads stopped working after 10 uses. We did get replacements from Dyson Customer Service but within a short time, they failed too. I told the Dyson Rep that the first machine was great and that they cheapened their parts. She told me 'to move on'. Yup, I am moving on.
