Excerpt: The Dyson DC25 All Floors Ball Upright Vacuum by far surpasses any other vacuum I have used. I have used some great vacuums in my time, but this Dyson is far superior to them all. I have a Golden Retriever and two cats, all of which shed like crazy. It’s so bad that we get tumbleweeds floating around the house and our rugs are covered in pet hair.
Summary: Just received this and strongly suspect this is not "band new" and it is certainly not in "Factory sealed box". As listed on packing list. This looks as it if is an "insurance salvaged item". I suspect this vendor of deliberate and dishonest practice. Waiting to hear back from vendor before opening this item to check the serial number etc.
Summary: I bought this Dyson from AMZN earlier this year. It does have great suction and the on-board tools are very handy, but there are a number of reasons I wish I had bought something different. For one thing, it IS heavy for a female "senior." There is nothing light-weight about this vacuum. My house is two-story and I have an Oreck upstairs. I could not carry this Dyson back and forth between the levels.
Summary: Everyone likes to talk this vac up, but I don't like it much at all. It's okay for carpeted floors, I'll give it that. But it's terrible if you have a mix of carpet and hard floors such as tile or hardwood. Here are my complaints: 1) When you turn it on, as soon as you press the lever to drop it into position and begin vacuuming, the bristle brush begins to spin every time.
