Summary: If you have a 3 story house, this vacuum is for you ! Light weight and easy to haul up and down stairs. If you have a German Shepherd, or any other ridiculously hairy animal then go for a DC 17 animal. I regret selling my first Dyson for this model.
Summary: I bought the cap because mine had warped. My roll bar was very loose and didn't pick up nearly as well as it used to and was very loud. The piece was a little to big and I couldn't get it to close and lock at first.
Summary: This is a great little vacuum cleaner that works great until the belt motor goes bad. This particular model does not have a replacable belt like most vacuum cleaners. And like most vacuum cleaners the belt/motor is usually the first thing to go bad.
Summary: My husband and I have had this vacuum for two years. we were really excited when we got it, as dyson's are rated pretty well and we thought it'd be a dream. unfortunately, we've had mixed reviews.
Summary: I am hoping I can get at least three years service out of this vacuum before it goes belly-up: if I can, then I think I would have received some value from the purchase.
Pros: It’s a Dyson product, which are generally well made and reliable.

Summary: Ten years ago, June 19, 2003, I wrote a review for the Dyson DC07 Cyclone Animal Upright Vacuum, the first one sold through Amazon. Considering that we got rid of our 25 pound Simplicity for the DC07 dynamo, I was astounded.
Summary: The Good: I've owned this vacuum cleaner for 2 years and it's still working as good as the day I got it. It's definitely not the kind of cleaner you'll have to throw away or repair after 6 months. The compact size is ideal for small apartments where there's little space to store a vacuum cleaner.
Summary: At this point, I'm still have issues with it not picking up hair from the floor. I check the brush area and sometimes it is totally clean and I still have issues. Perhaps it just needs to be broken in.......we'll see.
Summary: After my nearly forty year old Electrolux gave up I decided to splurge on this futuristic beauty. After two months of using it I have to say that it has a lot of short comings that, coupled with the price, make this a poor value.
