Excerpt: The DC-24 probably won’t have enough suction if you have a sheepdog with a skin disease or if your spouse is a professional sandcastle builder. (The more powerful DC-25 might do the trick.) But the DC-24 should suck in even the most die-hard Dyson skeptics.
Pros: Greatly simplified compared to older models. Very quiet. Light, easy to maneuver. Tiny. Price is right: $100 cheaper than the DC 15. Super-smart 2-in-1 attachment makes it harder to lose. Remarkably tough – we bashed it up against all manner of furniture and its chassis never cracked, its suction power never hiccuped.
Cons: Relatively weak suction compared to other Dysons. Dust clings to the cowl inside the bin.
