Summary: My Dyson slim lost suction in the wand and since I don't like pulling the wand out anyway, I ordered the canister. It does not do carpet very well but it excels on hardwood floors and tile and with the detangler attachment for pet hair it rocks. I could not register the warranty with Dyson--kept throwing me off the site and I tried calling and never got through so i gave up. It was only six months since this was refurbished. No problems other than suction on carpets.
Pretty Good vacuum but the head leaves quite a bit to be desired

Summary: This vacuum overall is great. Its not very heavy and in my opinion has done a better job than my past uprights that i've bought at Sears(Not too fair of a comparison being on my past 2 vaccums i've only spent around $75-80 + extended warranty). My biggest complaint is that the power head isn't that great on carpet. If I had berber it'd be perfect but anything slight more shaggy than that no dice.
Summary: I gave my old Dyson to my kids and got this model for my place that is all tile. It does the excellent job I expected it to do. The head & wand is a great design. Turning the brush on/off works so easy.
Summary: Was in very good condition - looked new. 4 stars is more about the design of the hose, storage of the vacuum is hampered because of the hose not wrapping around the body of the vacuum as it does with some other Dyson models.
Summary: I like the vacuum cleaner. It is powerful which is what I was looking for; The only downside is that I would like the hose to be a little bit longer - It would be ideal if the hose could reach a 10"x10" room without having to move the canister.
Excerpt: I got this vacuum for our new house. We have hardwood floors and carpet so it was necessary that we have something that can do multiple floors. We've had it for a couple weeks. I like it that it's lightweight and easy to pick up and store. It took some getting used to, coming from an upright. This is the first Dyson we owned. I like the canister model. It does trap the dirt well and has a cool hygienic way to empty the canister.
