Summary: This is the perfect product if you live in an apartment with no rugs, no more than 600 sq ft, no pets, and in an urban area that is largely paved over so there is no dirt. Don't waste your money if you have more to clean than that. The suction won't even pick up a little beebee or a small stone or leaf. The cord is so short that if you have a regular sized room you'll need to have multiple outlets to get the entire thing.
Summary: I wish I had never bought this contraption: it is very badly designed, and far too heavy for convenience. The various attachments are awkward to exchange; those attached to the main hose when not in use come off far too easily, and the main head, when stowed on the back of the body, is too high, so that it is pushed off its bracket, because the bottom end comes below the level of the underside of the body.
Summary: Cord too short. Pushes fluff around doesn't pick up unless I take the brush head off.Suction not as good as my old Hoovermatic. Have to keep moving machine around to reposition , I understand the later models have been designed with a ball action which obviously should rectify this problem. The hose takes several attempts to get it to hold its storage position often comes out of clip. This is my second attempt with Dyson hoovers, I gave my first Dyson upright away!!
Summary: Don't not buy this Dyson model. I have had another Dyson and it was fantastic but the DC22 has poor suction, It is very hard to empty without resorting to picking out the dust balls by hand and we are considering replacing it after just 6 months. I would strongly recommend getting a different Dyson.
Summary: After always promising myself a Dyson I was so disappointed! 49 years of marriage, about 6 vacuum cleaners gave me plenty of experience to judge. Hated the bulky pipe connecting hose to brush head. Hated the way the hose outlet was attached to the side so it didn't "pull" straight.
Summary: I had an old Dyson and it died so naturally I thought of buying another one. This was expensive and I had hoped it would perform as well if not better than my old Dyson. How wrong can you be? DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE CARPET. It's useless on carpet and does not suck any fluff (like the annoying black sock fluff that seems to grow on bedroom carpets) or any hair.
Summary: I dont usually leave feed-backs but with having this product for 9 months now. I would say it is not up to satisfaction - the buttons don't line up and when you want to empty it - it becomes a fight with the holder. do good if some one wants it for a small place (usually elderly people) as they will struggle, I hurt my fingers every time I empty it and then have to pull the dirt out with my hands which defeats the object of a hoover.
Summary: I've had an upright dyson previously which was great. I've had the DC22 for 3 years now and the suction which was poor to begin with seems to get progressively worse. I would try before you buy. If I had I would not have bought this.
Summary: I recently purchased the Dyson DC22 to replace my old Dyson upright, which completely fell to bits after five years. The DC22 is a complete and uttter nightmare to empty and has appalling suction.
Summary: Wish I had never bought this product. Suction useless; unable to pick up bits/fluff after new carpet fitted. Cylinder barely holds any dust and forever emptying. Fluff got suck around cylinder and had to use fork handle to remove it. Got sore back using because constantly having to lean over. Had to get the old Miele out to do the job properly... don't buy unless you're a hobbit with hard floor surfaces!
