Summary: The machine is stashed in the closet. My old cleaner didn't want to use it and the new one also prefers the Miele. I will likely pass it on to the kids when they get places of their own. Perhaps not a total waste of money.
Summary: where was this cleaner made? after a few months while my wife was cleaning the cleaner made a loud noise then caught fire and began belching black smoke not a good buy at all bought a vax instead and disposed of the dyson.
A good quality little hoover that can go anywhere.

Excerpt: I've had this vacuum for a while now and its a strong little thing! That is no doubt down to James Dyson and co and their technical wizadry! ==Performance 9/10== I cant really fault this at all, except its a little weak on carpeted areas. It makes light work of tiled, wood and laminate flooring. ==Ease of use 9/10== This little unit moves around well. It glides around the floor, and is small enough to perch on the stairs as you hoover your way up!
Great vacuum by Dyson, pricey but worth it for the quality.

Excerpt: Having made it through my student days and most of my 20s with vacuum cleaners that were either available at the properties I rented or purchased by fellow housemates I have never actually paid much attention to how many different types of vacuums are out there. I bought a Tesco upright vacuum as it was cheap and cheerful and did an ok job, but it broke after 2 years and I therefore did a little more research and ended up with the Dyson DC19T2.
