The Dyson DC16 is a handheld vacuum cleaner. It comes equipped with the Root Cyclone technology in addition to its suction power of 36 air watts. This handheld unit vacuum can clean both small and large debris from carpets, tabletop surfaces, computer keyboards, and other surfaces. It can provide up to six minutes of cleaning on a full charge. The Dyson DC16 emits fresh air to the area. With the use of its 0.21 gallon clear bin , it provides users with a one-touch-cup-empyting system. It doesnt use bags. And its filters are washable. Some of it other features include a 21.6 volt lithium-ion battery technology, an LED battery indicator. The Dyson DC16 comes with a charger cord that is 4-8/9 feet in length, a wall mounted battery charger, fixing screws, airflow tools, crevice tools and a combination accessory tool.

It is best used when tackling small areas especially as you do need to physically keep the trigger depressed when in use. The DC16 handheld vacuum cleaner by Dyson is surprisingly easy to use and does a good job at picking up the dust and dirt that gathers in between cleanings. Amazing (but only for 6 minutes!)

This is the best handheld out there. I really enjoy the power and efficiency - but the duration is short - only 6 minutes. I usually use this to pick up dog hair and my sweeping piles. It has excellent suction. I find myself using the handheld for a cleaning job for about 6 minutes - then having to set it back on the charger - cleaning another portion of my house - and then having to return to continue my little vaccuum jobs. We purchased this handheld vacuum hoping to get the dyson power in a dustbuster size. Our house has cats, and they shed everywhere. I bought this when our house was on the market hoping to use it on carpeted stairs so I wouldn't have to lug the full dyson up and down everyday. This handheld works great for messes on hardwood floor, but it was not powerful enough to capture pet hair from the carpet fibers. I would recommend this vacuum for light cleaning, but I would not... Works great, but not for a long period of time

After buying it I can't imagine how I ever lived without it. It's perfect for those quick clean ups. It's lightweight and I love the yellow color.
