battery goes dead
L. Woelk "luigi02114", Amazon
5 June 2014
Summary: Bought this in 2012 and was satisfied with it, but in less than two years the rechargeable battery went dead. It can't be replaced, so you have to throw the whole thing out. You'd be better off with one with a cord.
Doesnt come with pre filter or foam, blows dust everywhere!!!
19 September 2013
Summary: The first time I used this to suck up kitty litter it blew dust everywhere...What the heck? After looking at the filter there are several holes in the plastic that just let everything threw! Again...What the heck? After some reading there is a pre-filter available that goes into those holes. B&D...this is just stupid and you need to fire the dope that designed this. What kind of vacuum cleaner direct vents with NO FILTER PATH???
Summary: It works fine. So did my previous B&D for many years. This one seems a little more unwieldy to hold (not a huge problem). It's a shame that this one must be plugged and unplugged each time, rather than charging automatically when hung from its base.
Summary: I've had one of these for a couple of years, the battery has lost a bit of power but it still does its job. My only complaints are that the nozzle doesn't allow you to suck everywhere you'd like to but you need to learn how to angle it for efficiency. Also, the filter is rather flimsy and I wouldn't use it to vacuum glass debris, while the provided bracket is rather awkward (I reused the pedestal of my former handheld "designer" vac) but for the price this vac saved me...
Summary: This was by far the most awful purchase I have ever made on amazon! It does NOT work! I charged for 48 hours and the battery didn't even make it up the stairs- and that was just spot vacuuming! I charged overnight and tried again. Was able to vacuum driver side in car and part of the passenger side and it dies again!
Summary: This little hand vac has done quite well for us in the 2 years since we purchased it. It's still going strong and holds a charge as long as it ever did. We're still on the same filter (though we've soap/water washed it 2-3 times now) and nothing is broken. We take this camping with us to vacuum out the tent (holds a decent charge but it could be a little better) and recharge it on the car's power inverter.
