Summary: Received this vacuum for Christmas 2012 worked great until I had to change the bag out. trying to put a new bag into the vacuum shouldnt be so hard but it caused a lot of stress. After about 1/2 hour i was finally able to get the lid to close and stay closed. The next time i had to change the bag was even worse. I had to take it to a bissell service center where i was told to duck tape the latch on the lid to allow it to close.
Summary: I purchased my first PowerGroom Pet Canister Vacuum in the spring of 2012 and love it. When Walmart put their last one in stock on clearance for $68, I was thrilled. There is now a downstairs Bissell and an upstairs Bissell 67E2 in my home so no more lugging one up and down when it is needed!
Summary: I purchased the Bissell Power Groom Pet vacuum cleaner about a year ago. It worked great the first 2 or 3 times I used it. Now, the suction is barely there. It is cheaply made and not very user friendly. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Summary: We've had this vacuum for almost 6 years and use it at least twice a week. We have two labs, one is a mix with extremely long hair. Both shed heavily. This is the BEST vacuum I've ever used; however, last week I had to replace the belt and it was very tight. Obviously, the old one had been stretched out. The motor burned out the first time using it. It may be coincidence as it is an old model and was used a lot. I will be getting the newer version tonight.
Summary: I purchased this canister vacuum as opposed to an upright because I have two cats and all of the hair kept clogging the hose and filters on the uprights. The plus to this canister is that there are only 2 places for hair to clog up the cleaner & they are both easy access! The suction control allows me to vacuum up the wayward kitty litter without it going everywhere along with comforters and other furniture without it getting stuck in the suction power.
