Summary: I bought this vacuum about 4 months ago. loved it at first but after using it regularly I want to save people their money and time. I've already had to take the damn thing apart 4-5 times to unclog it or fix things, really annoying seeing as I have a two dog household and I vacuum every other day so its not like the dust/hair gets that built up. Every time you crouch down to use the hose the thing falls over on top of you.
Summary: Decent suction. I like the fact that it was bagless but this is the thing, the darn thing is so heavy I can't even use it! I'm 5'8", work out, carry around two toddlers all day but I cannot, for the life of me, move this thing around my living room for more than ten minutes straight. It is literally the heaviest vacuum I have ever used.
Summary: This vacuum has great suction and has gotten my dark blue and green carpets a darker shade than I even realized they were, picking up a terrific amount of fine dust that my last vacuum apparently left behind. One drawback-- the brush turns off when the vacuum is locked upright, so you can't use it in an upright fashion on stairs (and it's almost too heavy to maneuver that way anyways).
Summary: I just bought this today (from Walmart), and I am SO embarrassed by the dust and dirt this vacuum got out of our carpets! It was very easy to put together - less than 5 minutes total. It's nice to have the on/off button and the brush roller button right at my fingertips. It was so easy to switch to the hose/wand to get behind our corner end table. The wheels are large, so even though it's heavy to lift, it's very easy to roll around.
Summary: I have a golden retriever and a chocolate lab that live with us in our 4 story, fully carpeted townhome. This vacuum is amazing! the suction power is fantastic and the tools are very useful. Yes, the vacuum is a little heavy for going up and down stairs, but the performance more than makes up for it. Great purchase.
Summary: Good ideas, terrible execution. Worst dirt cup design ever/messy. Light weight compared to what, a Ford F-150? Average suction, typical advertising 101 with "cyclonic power". Our older $100 Momentum has more power and suction. Buy a bagged unit, no extra gadets/garbage. Cirrus, Miele, some Hoovers, etc... I have researched and tested dozens of residential vacs from $100-1500, short term and long term. Don't fall for the Dyson/cyclonic phenomenon.
Summary: I bought this vacuum for my wife for Christmas. She opened it today and it worked great until the roller stopped turning. The "lifetime" belt seemed to be in tact but it wasn't spinning. There's no way to open it (without an extra long and narrow hex wrench) to see if the belt slipped off the motor. Before it stopped spinning it was really sucking all the dirt and dust out of the carpet and you could really tell it was getting more than our previous vacuum.
Summary: I just purchased this vacuum last night. I do not like to vacuum but when I tried it out and watched my mainly black colored oriental rug turn to new looking I could not stop vacuuming. The suction power of of this vacuum is incredible! I filled the dust bucket after doing 3 rugs, note the emptying of the bucket was very easy and I did not wear the dust like my other vac.
Summary: I did a lot of reading reviews and checking with consumer reports before I purchased this vacuum. It's a newer model so there isn't a lot of reviews of this particular one but Bissell seemed to be one of the top two brands in customer satisfaction. I have 3 cats and a dog so I needed something that could really get the hair out of the carpet and furniture.
