Summary: I've had this vacuum for a year now and it's been a nightmare. No suction whatsoever. Constantly emptying debris canister and cleaning filter trying to improve suction. Dust flying everywhere. Try to vacuum my floors and it takes at least 5 passes to pick up dirt THEN spits it back out behind me as I'm vacuuming. Attachments are useless. Turbo brush doesn't work. I don't even have pets but this is the worst vacuum I have ever owned.
Summary: I ordered this vacuum on 1/24/13. It came quickly and was easy to assemble. My housekeeper called me today to tell me the roller is not working anymore. It's less than 4 months old! She only comes every two weeks so it has been used around 8 times. I am very disappointed in this product. Don't waste your money!
Shoots Up Debris and Dust, UNACCEPTABLE! Check pictures for demonstration.

Summary: I bought this vacuum and it UNACCEPTABLE. When you detach the hose to use the handheld accesories it blows dirt and debris out the machine. When you call customer service; the solution is to clean the area where the machine is sitting thoroughly so it won't shoot up dirt and debris. As Bissell explained, the brush does not stop moving which sends dirt and debris toward the Foot Hose (the hose that shoots debris).
Summary: I cannot believe my disgust with this product. After only 1 month and 2 uses at about 30 min each the brush broke which snapped the belt. I cannot believe it. I called Bissell they apologized but said the brush and belt are not covered by the limited warranty and I must pay $20 bucks for a new brush and belt. THE ENTIRE THING COST ME $80!!!!!!!!!!! How is the brush 25% of the entire product? I would avoid this product at all costs!
Summary: If you have animals don't buy this vacuum. The hair gets caught up in the upper compartment of the machine and doesn't even make it into the regular lower dirt compartment. You have to put your hands up inside and grab the hair and dust to pull it out and you need a bag under your hand to catch it all or you'll be dumping it on the base of the vac. It might be great for people without pet hair but it's a 1 star for people with furry family memers.
Summary: Don't get me wrong, this vacuum really sucks up dirt. BUT, i lighted used the vacuum for about 5 months when the carpet length adjustment broke making it very difficult to push the vacuum. It is a cheap plastic piece that broke and now it is a real workout to push it, and I am a 165 pound male.
Summary: I used this piece of crap vacuum a total of 5 times on NEW carpet in two small rooms and the belt broke!!!!! The people at customer service were reading a script and kept having to pause to let the next page of "troubleshooting load", it was awkward and pathetic all at the same time. Go to you tube and look up vacuum belt changing because they won't give you anything.
Summary: I have owned two Bissells and both had the same problem. The foot kick that holds up the vacuum handle when you stop vacuuming breaks. So you end up with a vacuum cleaner that falls over and won't stand up while you move the plug, move a piece of furniture or whatever. And, even better you CANNOT get a replacement part for it even though it would be very easy to change. If this small piece were metal and better plastic this problem could be avoided.
