Summary: The lightweight, highly-mobile vacuum is great for hardwood floors and the retractable cord marks the wrapping up process much easier. I use this over our amazing Oreck spaceship for the hardwood. The extension makes vacuuming fun and rewarding—yeah I said it. Great product for the money.
Summary: These days its not easy to find a small canister "bagged"vacuum that doesn't have an extra motorized carpet attachment that you don't need. This is a well made, solid product with a long cord, long extending hose and easy to find replacement bags along with a double filtration system.
Summary: I use this vacuum in my small 1 bedroom apartment. It's sufficient for me. It's a good quality product. I only have wall to wall carpet in the bedroom and the rest of my apartment is hardwood. The vacuum works well with both.
Summary: As an independent housecleaner, I have been looking for a vacuum just for the sole purpose of cleaning non-carpeted flooring. I use an Oreck for the carpets. While no product is perfect, I did weigh the pros and cons of the reviews and decided to purchase it.
Summary: I was looking for a vacuum that's similar to the AEG Vampyr and I have found it! Having used a Kirby Sentra for the last few years, I am so happy with my new Bissell! Although the Kirby was free, I never liked it (too loud, too heavy, you can't vacuum tile/wood floors with it).
Summary: If you liked the cheaper version (about $50) of this type of vacuum cleaner you will not be disappointed with this one. I myself owned the cheaper cleaner before, it always did its job very well.
