Summary: Did the whole house in a morning. Lifted dirt from carpets. Easy to use but uses lots of cleaning liquid as you are filling machine every few minutes. One fill up only does about 6 square feet.
Summary: This carpet cleaner is perfect size for smaller rooms. It was very easy to assemble even though I have some arthritis in my hands. It is not too heavy to handle. The water tank is easy fill and empty. Most importantly it cleans beautifully - gets the down deep dirt. It is very much worth the price I paid for it.
Summary: Love this machine! I admit when I saw it in the store display, I was not impressed.....but I bought it due to the rave reviews..and I'm glad I did!.. Like most concerned, it would be 105% better if the water tank(s) were bigger!..on that note, just be careful how you fill it--if you are not aware of where the tank is filling, you can actually fill the "dirty water" side before the cleaning solution bladder.
Summary: This is my second Bissell carpet cleaner, and it is even better than the first, which I used for about 7 years before I lost a part while cleaning it. This has an even better water reservoir design that is easier to use than on the first. It does exactly what it says. The brushes are gentle on the carpet, and the suction is obvious as you can see the water being pulled into the reservoir.
Summary: I have only used this machine once, am not disappointed. It took a while for me to read everything, but in the end was able to figure everything out. The rug I was cleaning was inexpensive and after the through cleaning it rippled, but is now settling down. It does take more than one filling even for a small rug, but if you follow directions and go back and forth as told, it does dry within a short period of time, of course depending on the carpet.
