Summary: Purchased the 64GB drive because I needed to back up important FEA files and results from a secured computer that was being returned(company lease was up) and not able to be hooked up to the internet.
Summary: For the guy with a mid-range tech level complaining it only holds 15G. .. REALLY? Hasn't there been enough discussions regarding advertised size vs actual MB space on disk? Granted they really should advertise the true size, but it's a given accepted practice these days...
Summary: For general usability, I would give it 1 or 2 stars for the following reasons: 1) It is very small and can be kept on a key chain, but I found that the weight of the key chain pulled the drive out of position, so I had to take it off the chain every time I needed to use it.
Summary: I must admit, while I use computers everyday, I'm not much of a computer geek. So I admit upfront that I'm not able to assess the high tech aspects of this device, except to say that it holds a lot of information and is very very small. As such, I love it.
Summary: I bought one of these so I could carry files with me to share with my friends like videos, documents, and cool cat photos. After one use all it does is heat up and that's it. It's a piece of garbage. I expect more from Verbatim.
Summary: The other comment implies that his drive has only 14gb available. I have quite a few on this all of them 16.54GB of free space. Not sure where he gets the idea that they are "shorting" him memory, because they aren't. Great product!
Pros: Tiny Great for keychain Tiny product, Big memory
Cons: unlike how it advertised it only holds 15 gigs I'd ask for 95 cents of storage that I was ripped off for but it's easier just to give it a low rating to teach verbatim not to do these things to their customers.
