Works but could be better design

G. Crouse "Artist who listens while painting...., Amazon
28 December 2014
  • Summary: I don't care for the slider that pushes out the usb connector because it is where the hole is for your key chain so it makes using it awkward.

Fast

Proczorism, Amazon
9 July 2013
  • Summary: Considerably faster than my 2.0 flash drives and big enough to get the job done and have had no issues with the product so far. Can't be sure if it is the fastest out there but it is speedy and does not seem to warm up unnecessarily when being used for long periods of time.

Great for carrying data files from one PC to another!

Dennis Bruce, Amazon
9 May 2013
  • Summary: I already had 2 Verbatim Store 'n' Go 4 GB flash drives, and have never had any problems with the Verbatim Drives. But, with data files becoming larger each year, a 4 GB drive was no longer serving my usage. The 32 GB drive operates quickly, quietly, and has been very reliable. When attached to a USB port for long periods of time, it does seem to generate quite a bit of heat.

3 of 10 died < 2 weeks

whip "whip", Amazon
11 April 2013
  • Summary: Reliability: I purchased 10 of these for various uses. I was using them in a linux environment. I put them under a fairly heavy read/write load and within 2 weeks, 3 of the 10 drives could no longer mount their volumes. Form Factor: I do like the slide out *actually* staying out when you insert the drive. It's a small thing, but is always annoying when the drive pushes back into itself. Performance: Other reviewers have left performance numbers.

Format was required

Doug Halley, Amazon
22 March 2013
  • Summary: The first few times I plugged this flash drive into different Windows computers it said it had to be repaired. I ended up having to format it. I did a full formatting using Windows formatting program, just had to uncheck the quick formatting box, and let Windows do the rest. After that the flash drive has been able to be plugged into any computer, Mac or Windows, without any issues.

It's okay...

Aju Skaria, Amazon
4 February 2013
  • Summary: I had it for awhile, it seems like this product gets overheated when it is inserted into the USB 3.0 port for a long time.

Fast convenient

J. J. Weiss, Amazon
14 December 2012
  • Summary: True USB 3 speeds, if not the fastest. Capless design with a slide mechanism that is very positive and not weak like most.
