Summary: So i bought this VERY cheap and then found out it was DEAD SLOW! I mean it took near 30min to transfer 500mb of photos. However, after fooling around with it i larn that its not the drive that's slow, its the software it comes with! DON'T USE IT! I formatted the drive and used the old method of dragging files right to the drive ... works perfect.
Summary: Fast, reliable storage. Only flaw in the design is how the USB plug retracts. To keep it from collapsing while plugging in you have to hold your thumb on the latch. It's a minor annoyance, though.
Summary: My 256 MB flash drive just wasn't cutting it any more, so when I decided to upgrade, there were a few things I was looking for. First was a high capacity, second was something that wasn't too expensive, and third was anything that seemed reliable and wasn't a SanDisk. As far as capacity goes, 8 GB is great.
Cons: It doesn't come with a neck strap, as the product description says. The packaging is so small that there isn't any place that one could be included, so it isn't like it was missing. I have a 1 GB model that I bought a couple years ago and it has a neck strap, but this one doesn't.
Summary: When buying flash drives in bulk for the workplace, price matters. For the best price this flash drive has had more than adequate performance. Please note that this flash drive is entirely plastic encased-- previously ones of this apperance/design were metal. That being said, it's been just as durable and is lighter weight.
Summary: This little flash drive is fast, green and plastic. It's not the most durable thing on the planet, but it's compact and the USB connector retracts nicely for protection. It's a good size and a good price if you want a different color other than black or gray to distinguish your flash drive from everyone else's flash drive!
