Cons: Stopped working after three months. And they won't send replacement until I send them back the broken piece. But who will be responsible for the information on the broken piece. I can't erase the information. What if someone got hold it and got my bank account info. Will Transend be responsible for my loss? Will NEVER buy Transend again.
Summary: I started with new drive, did a quick format, Loaded 60Gb of data, checked it on a second computer (worked), then mailed in a padded envelope. Customer said it would not work; she tried on 4 computers.
Pros: Large capacity. No cap.
Cons: I am a wedding Photographer/Videographer & needed to get 60GB of wedding photos & videos to a bride. This seemed to be the best way to get them a 'hard' copy for them to keep.
Pros: ANY product that gives a LIFETIME warranty. the ability to fix their USB drive with software right from their site. Topped off with an EXCELLENT price $9.00. With NEWEGG's FREE shipping. How can you go wrong?
Pros: Using USB2.0 ports I get the speeds of 14.0 write and 28.7 read. Good size and design. Lifetime warranty!! For the price and read speeds a very good value for USB 2.0 drives. The JetFlash Elite software (you have to download) is interesting, personally I like the security features.
Cons: They are white, but of course I knew that. If my son uses them and does not get the greese off of his fingers, I have to clean-yp after him (he's 40). Waiting for Negegg to stock the 500 series 64GB drive (they are black).
Pros: Transfer rates are better than my previous USB Flash drive (Sandisk Cruzer 4GB) by a factor of 2 for both read and write speeds.
Cons: Wasn't crazy about getting a white USB drive, but when the black one (same brand, same specs, just different color) was almost twice the cost, I can sacrifice looks. Guess white isn't too popular?
