Summary: Just got it today - so longevity is not known - but it is a lovely metal case that helps dissipate what little heat it makes and looks quite attractive. It appears to be made well, without any visible flaws or weaknesses, in Taiwan.

Pros: Small, keychain sized with massive storage space. Good for car stereos/laptops/any computer where there is fear of breaking off a conventionally large usb drive. Good for micro computers that are in enclosed/limited space areas.
Cons: Difficult to unplug without a lanyard of sorts attached to it. Considerably snug fit with most USB ports, hard to plug in and remove. If it takes more than a minute or two to read or write to the drive, the metal case gets too hot to touch. Large file transfers (over a few hundred megabytes) fail...
