Excerpt: Generally speaking, pleased with performance on my 64-bit, Windows 7 laptop, USB 3.0 port. I don't have precise metrics, but the read and write speeds are very impressive for files of all sizes.
Excerpt: It's the fastest drive I've had. Alhough I'm not achieving the rated speeds, I have exceeded 100MBps esp on linear read/write (i.e. one large file). BUT - I had to reformat it to get these speeds. Inexplicably, it comes formatted FAT32. I wondered why performance was, well, ordinary.
Excerpt: Very fast in writing or reading. I like the retractable port. Once you extract it to insert it into a computer, the blue LED light will light up underneath the now-extracted port and show writing/reading activity. This LED light is not mentioned on Sandisk website, strangely.
Excerpt: There is no mention in the Sandisk website or product description about the LED light. There is a blue LED light under the switch, which will light blue and flash during activity if plugged into a port.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast, High Capacity, Portable, Reliable
Excerpt: This drive is very fast. I keep my Lightroom catalog on it and can use the catalog wherever I go. At the moment there are over 100,000 previews on it and I can view my photos without having to have the originals.
