"KNOW THIS B4 U BUY ..."

CNET
23 January 2005
  • Pros: 1 - Excellent Design 2 - Price dropped significantly (since original release) 3 - Software included: Encryption option, outlook synchronization, backup option. (Note: Some of the software is trial) 4 - Titanium finish, impact resistant (up to 2000 lbs.)
  • Cons: For a flash drive that claims to be high-speed, it hasn't worked on any of the 5 computers USB 2.0 ports. Ironically, I have a USB Extension 1.1 & USB Hub (also 1.1) and it will only work perfectly in USB 1.1 mode. BTW, it hates the front USB hookup

"i beat the poop out of it and its good"

CNET
12 January 2005
  • Pros: can stand up to the worst beatings. titanium gets a worn cool look after a couple of months. don't use the apps - never needed em, always reliable, always detected by a plethora of different desk/laptops
  • Cons: only in 512mb size. c'mon sandisk, make a gig or 2

"I've had 2 that failed"

CNET
29 November 2004
  • Pros: looks good, fast, neat access to connection
  • Cons: My first one broke so that the exposed connector would not 'lock' open and took 2 hands to insert, my second one is so loose fitting that the connection is rarely established (=not recognized). Don't recommend this usb at all!
