Summary: I would recommend it, it's getting tougher to find drives with read-only switches. This one does a great job.
Pros: Runs pretty quickly. I bought this so that I could load anti-virus software onto it, and then place it in read-only so that computers cannot infect it. Works like charm. Feels like sturdy construction.
Cons: None really, kinda wish there was somewhere to store the cap on the unit, but I knew there wasn't when I bought it.
Pros: Great storage capacity for the price. Comes with norton 360 internet security, if you like norton. Personaly I use McAfee. Works in all my computers. Never had any trouble with this product at all.
Summary: Not bad, could be faster and have the write protect switch be a bit bigger so it's easy to switch on or off. Other than that, I have no complaints, I use this drive for when I need to fix someone's PC and don't want the flash drive to get infected with a virus.
Pros: Aluminum casing looks cool and professional. Includes a wrist strap. Has a write protect switch which is great when you have a virus scanner on your flash drive and you need to scan the computer without having the flash drive get infected. Plus 16GB... plenty of space!
Cons: Slower than most 16GB drives at this price. You need to use the tip of a mechanical pencil to engage the write-protection. (it's on the end of the drive)
Summary: I've had viruses get on my previous jump drive and trash about a dozen fresh installs of Windows. This thing paid for itself the second I took it out of the package. Every repair tech should have one.
Pros: * Write protect switch * No goofy retractable plug that gets pushed back in when you try to insert it into a computer * Great for repair techs * Full of win
Cons: * It took 3 hours to get the lanyard through the loop. * I am now paranoid of any jump drive that doesn't have a write protect switch.
Summary: I bought 2 of them to use as Vista Installers. One for 64 bit and one for 32bit. They work great. I'm so glad companies are still providing thumb drives with write protection. Though they are getting fewer and fewer.
Pros: Write protection is the big one. Also has great read speeds. 1kb chunks = 2.6 megs a second. 256 kb chunks = 31.3 megs a second and 16 meg chunks = 32 megs a second. Its also plastic on the outside unlike other drives. Which is good. The a drive I had that had a metal finish I shorted out after w...
Cons: Write speeds seem to be a little slow, but I don't care.
