Not bad

Stan J., Newegg
7 April 2009
  • Summary: What the hay it is just twenty dollars.
  • Pros: I found this to very quick for a stick in this price range. Looks to be water proof but I don't plan on finding out though. Worked right away on my mac pro.
  • Cons: At first windows would not recognize it. I tried for a couple of days and nothing and was returning it when I reformatted it and like magic it worked. The USB insertion is a little thin and allows extra movement. Once I got it to work I placed it on an extension cable and is now held firmly in pl...

User Review

Myles R., Newegg
24 March 2009
  • Pros: It is 8 GB and reasonably priced.
  • Cons: Flimsy construction. Why must some items be made to look and feel so cheap? Is it really so much more expensive to make a more solid product? The connection needs to be scotch taped into the receptacle becuse it keeps falling out -- a real pain in the neck. Software does not come with the product...

Plenty of space

Seth J., Newegg
23 March 2009
  • Summary: The simple reason that I wanted to purchase a Jump Drive with this much capacity was for Ghosting computers. This device does exactly what I wanted. Like others have stated, it is not as fast as something like the Patriot Xporter, but I was able to get a 7.7GB .GHO file copied to the device in 17...

  • Summary: Desk bench results of .ISO file: PC to USB Size: 733079552 Time: 153985 ms (roughly 2.5 minutes) Transfer Rate: 4.540 MB/s USB to PC Size: 733079552 Time: 51813 ms (51 seconds) Transfer Rate: 13.493 MB/s I bought this stick to use in my car's radio via a USB cable running to the glove box because of...
  • Pros: Very slight weight and slim. The swivel cap is securely in place, trust me I tried taking it off.
  • Cons: One LED light that is on the edge of the key, so if your USB port is facing a certain way you will not see the LED. The USB plus is not a secure plug, so very little adjacent pressure causes is to lose contact with PC. The speed is so-so, I've used faster USB sticks but I've also used much slower...

Won't lose this deal

Anonymous, Newegg
20 February 2009
  • Pros: 8 GB is huge for the price, vista support, 360 degrees makes it inconvenient to not have to remember to cap it. Hope the color really is pink.
  • Cons: It's not U3. The free shipping is Egg saver not UPS ground.
