Summary: So far it works well, I like how small it is. However the color is actually a polished finish. I thought it was grey, and because of that, I will not buy this product again. I work in an industrial environment with CNC machines and with all the oils I personally need something with a coating type finish.
Summary: So, the performance is little over the map. In Windows 8, 10ish MB/s write. Linux-Parted Magic, 4 MB/s. Can't comment on the read speed but seems decent. The reason I am going to be returning this product is what others have said. The is no play in the connector. I feel like I am going break my USB port taking this in and out. It's just too snug. Unless you want to finness taking this drive in and out every time, I would look elsewhere.
Summary: No it's not the fastest or largest thumb drive out there, but that isn't the biggest concern; this device has the potential to damage your USB ports. It nearly destroyed mine. The leading edges of most encased USB device circuit boards (any USB device having an applied case protecting/obscuring the connection pads) are eased during manufacturing to ensure that the device has enough play to easily seat into the port.
Summary: Out of four drives, one has a defect: it takes a long time (up to 10 sec) to start a copy or delete operation on a large file, although small files seem to be OK. This is the first time I see this and the remaining thee drives seem to be OK, copy operation starts fast and delete is almost instantaneous. The packaging is different from what's shown. There is no word "Attache" on the blue strip and the packaging looks like this: [...
